I recently updated the driver to 14.9. It turns all apps pink. I tried setting controls in the Catalyst center as well as my Monitor. In all cases the pink does not go away. Perhaps, much worse, VLC wont play back in a viewable format. If I remove the driver my system goes back to normal but I can't play the game. I suspect this will be problem with all games going forward.
On the latest install, I ran the custom option and only allowed the driver in. Still pink but at least VLC runs normally more or less. Either I find a way to fix this or I get rid of the card which I'm more inclined to do.
With that in mind, can you recommened a non AMD card that is under $250 and will give me something that will run all the new releases in at least a normal mode. My CPU is a non OC i78-920 with 12 GB RAM. Note, I suck at games but I like playing them just the same.
