Hey guys,
Im a NEW pc builder. I just built my first pc:
I7 4790k
Supernova B2 750w 80 plus bronze
Corsair H105
Patriot Viper 8gb ddr 3 (2x 4gb) 1866MHZ
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK
Samsung 840 evo 120gb ssd (Boot drive)
WD Black 1tb hd
Blue ray burner
I have had some issues with my computer being stable. In the beginning I could turn the PC on and use it for 25 min then it would just power off and get stuck into a boot cycle. I thought it was the temperature so I replaced the stock cooler with the H105 and it solved the problem for a short time. Now I am trying to run Prime95 and as soon as I push "run" it immediately restarts my computer and boots back up normally. I haven't been doing any special or intense tasks besides surfing the web.
Suggestions? I have not tried running Memtest yet, its on my to-do list. All of my components are at stock settings.
