I have a reasonably old machine with the following specs....

1. Gigabyte GA-G41M-COMBO
2. Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 - 2.66 GHz Quad-Core CPU
3. Currently 4GB DDR2 800 (although i'm going to upgrade to 8GB DDR3 1600)
4. 450 watt power supply

I'd like to get a new graphics card to max this out, please could you recommend something, i'm aware the power supply is awful and needs upgrading so if you could recommend something for that too it'd be appreciated. Also what is the most limiting factor in the above (apart from the power supply?)

Thanks

the best gpu your system can handle is a gtx 750 ti. You will not be able to get ddr3 ram if your cpu and mb only support ddr2. you should just build a new pc you will get much better performance if you don't have enough money to build a new pc you can get a new gtx 750 ti now and use it in a new build once you get more money.
