Just wondering if my motherboard supports SATA III or not. Because I want to use an SSD.

Motherboard is: asrock n68-gs3 ucc

Solution
No, the ports on this are SATA 2

4 x SATA2 3.0 Gb/s connectors, support RAID (RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 5 and JBOD), NCQ and Hot Plug functions

But you can still use SATA 3 ssd's or hdd's on it. But it wont run @ SATA 3 speed

Paul NZ - raid0 made out of intels don't die, they just live...like forever. Hehe, just kidding, but they last really very long. Well, yes, that's why we don't use raid0 for nothing like storage, only system and games. And one can easily create image via Acronis True Image of it's freshly installed OS and updated up to the day, and weee, enjoy the speed! :) It recovers 50-120 GB data within 7-14 minutes :). I'm using raid0 in 2 way atm. for over a decade, started with HDD, ended up with SSD. Only raid arrays that died were raid1 and didn't have WD or Intel in them.

To the topic, don't be afraid of raid0, it's a sure strike, just get some better SSDs, like 520 or 530 [Intels], or Mushkin Chronos DX. Raid0 is pure power.
