Here again looking for some advice on my new gaming setup. I was originally planning on picking up a 4K monitor but after looking at the options out there currently I am thinking of just using a 1080p monitor until I find a 4K monitor with the options I want for less than $3,000 (since that is way over what I want to spend).
My question is this: once I get a 4K monitor can I use the 1080p monitor in a dual monitor setup? I would be using the 4K monitor as the main screen for gaming and most things but I don't want to just get rid of the 1080p display if I can still use it.
Also is a single GTX 980 enough to run dual monitors while outputting 4K?
