Fans stay on after PC shutdown?

So what is confusing me is that the fans are connected to the MB not the PSU. So i'm confused why they stay on. I have to flip the switch on my psu to shut off. Any ideas?

That is a first for me. Are you sure it is not sleeping. I have a pc that has a green led that stays on while powered down but never heard of that. Maybe a power setting?
