Hi, my motherboard for my HP P6130y burned up or something but it was glowing red (for another thread)

I am trying to get another motherboard but I am not sure if I can even get a good replacement, because my current one says AM2 or AM2+ and I don't find almost any like that, was well I don't think I will be able to use my DDR2 RAM, but that is ok, ram is not much more $$$.

Any help will be much appreciated.

My Processor as much as I can see is AMD Phenom X4 9750

Hi ingtar33, thank you for the quick reply, I did find some AM2 AM2+ boards but they are not much to speak of, the board I have I thought has a lot to speak of.

Thanks again so much and I will begin my search or maybe build my own,
Shane

I'd use this as an opportunity to upgrade your system. those old first generation phenom cpus were sorta junky. you probably could get something much better without breaking the bank.

Hi Ingtarr33, I will have to look to get something new. I hoped to use the Phenom as it was good for me, I came from a Sony Vaio so many year before. Once again, thanks for your help.
