I know this question seems redudant with all the "will this gpu work with my cpu" and all that but intially I had my sights on the R7 265 but upon my brother recommending me to go a little higher considering where Im from its literally only a few extra right now. I want to know if both work fine together with no issues such as bottlenecking ect.

is there anything I should be worried about?

The AMD FX 6300 and FX 8320 or 8350 will work fine with that GPU. However there may be slight bottleneck in most demanding games with the FX 6300 but it can be easily fixed with overclocking. The phenom will surely bottleneck it.

I hear the r9 270 is the equivalent to a gtx 660 and my freind uses that with an i3 procressor, and apparently my cpu is the equivalent to an i3 procressor. So I'm not sure whats the problem, I wish I could keep spending more money but if thats the best solution... which cpus amd based specifially will work with that gpu with NO bottlenecks or any other issues, fx 6300 is one any others? Perhaps int he Phenom series?
