Wireless button not working on Compaq laptop.

I spilled soda on my laptop keyboard, now the keyboard isn't working & my wireless button has been turned off & I can't connect to my router via wireless. Is there another way to turn it back on without the key on the keyboard? Maybe a way on the desktop itself? I was hoping I could do it without paying to fix the keyboard (If it's fixable) Please help, how do I fix it?

Go into Network settings, see wireless adapters, select your wireless device and try to re-enable it if you can from there. Otherwise, not sure how much it would cost to fix a keyboard (usually $20 part + some labour fee) but if it came down to it, go buy a $15-30 WiFi USB stick.
