Which build would suit me better?

Solution

XFX is a good manufacturer. And the $225 deal is very good deal from NCIX US.

One thing you could consider is bumping up the PSU so if you ever want to upgrade, you could just simply get a second R9 280X, and not have to worry about getting anything else.

What software are you editing videos with? As far as gaming is concerned, both builds will be fine. Both builds should be fine for editing videos as well, but certain software may sway a little bit towards one side or the other.

Me too haha

Keep in mind you'll need an aftermarket cooler with the AMD build unless you'd like to go deaf in two years...okay not really, but AMD stock coolers aren't good.

I don't know what program I'll use yet. I guess also because I'm going to be livestreaming most of the time, so I'll take advantage of the 8 cores. I'm going with the AMD Build. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Ck_H/saved/3KWmP6 I've edited it a little. I'm going for it because it is cheaper. Also, what is your opinion on the XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Black Edition Double Dissipation?
