I have a WD TV Live 1080p Wireless Streaming Media Player which I have used for the last year. All was good but now it is not recognising either of my hard drives. The light continually flashes and goes straight to "compiling media library. It used to work very well before but not now. I have the same external drives as I've always had (both wd). Also I now cannot turn it off using the remote. Have changed the batteries but this does not help either. Hope you can help me

Hey, Jackie!

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the WD TV Live and the external HDDs. :(
Have you tried them on the computer? Do they get detected there properly?
You can run the Data LifeGuard Diagnostics utility to test them just in case and see if any errors pop up.

Another thing you can do is check if you have the latest firmware update on your WD TV Live:

You can also try the drives after you've disabled the Media Library Compilation on the media player:

Keep me posted! Hope this helps you! :)
