Everytime i boot my machine, i first get an error bootmgr missing, this is caused because the machine is not recognising i have an operating system (SSD not detected) so tries to boot from a another drive. Restart my machine then it works fine, but one of my storage drives is missing. a third reboot and every drive is present. I always have to do three power down and power on to get all drives present.. a frustrating time consuming process. i now leave my machine on 24 hours a day and switch it off when i know i wont be using it for a week.. but when i come back to it after a week its a three power down and power on cycle to get all the drives present..

why?

Solution
Hi there dhamiltongrey,

Does the PSU provide enough power for the system? The best way to determine whether the PSU is causing the issue is just to try booting up your system with another one(borrow one from somebody). You can also try booting your computer with one of the HDDs disconnected.
Apart from that, you can try something simple like switching cables and ports.
You can also check whether the HDDs are set to secondary in the BIOS options.
