AMD equivalent of Intel

can anyone tell me AMD's eqivalent of the following 2 components ?
Intel core i5 4690k;
MSI z97 Gaming 5

There is no real AMD equivalent. As said above the 9590 is as close as AMD gets and that is only because of the high clock speeds. The AMD chips do well at video rendering and processing programs and that is about all.

The A10 is an APU and not a traditional CPU. As a CPU it's fairly weak and as a graphics processor it's also fairly weak but APUs work very well in situations where you can't have both. Like laptops or HTPCs.

an 8350 is close for threaded apps and certain games, but for less threaded apps and most games the i5 is much faster and more efficient. If your using this for gaming, just forget amd and go with the i5.

The 9590 comes close in performance but has several drawbacks; namely mobo compatibility, heat and power draw. The a10 will not come close to that i5, its designed for scenarios where you have limited space and only one processor in the system

being a amd fanboy for the last 14 years I went intel for my first time after my am3+ experience and cant say I did wrong kinda wonder if I should of skipped am3+ all together [opinion]

i havnt done much with oc, just to 4ghz with no voltage, im sure it could go to around 4.4. havnt found a game that has needed an oc to be honest. From reviews its around on par with a hyper 212, but those big air coolers dont fit in my case so went with the 120v. If you can fit it your probably better off with big air cooling as theyre cheaper. The other thing i don't like about big air is the asthetics, looks bulky and ugly in my clear side panel.
