I am running Windows 7 and I just got this new build. For the past few weeks everything has been running smoothly and now I am having connection issues.

I am using a "Linksys WUSB600N Wireless-N USB Network Adapter with Dual-Band ver. 2" as my adapter (I will be getting a hardline to my router within the next few weeks, but because of college exams and projects I need this computer as soon as possible).

It says that I am connected, and that I have internet access, but I constantly keep getting rejected from websites, saying that it cannot find the server. I tried running steam and a few games as well, but I get the same result all while my computer says its still connected with internet access.

What I have tried so far:
Internet Options> Connections> LAN Settings> check use a proxy server for your LAN

Uninstall any anti-virus software that could be blocking connection (reinstalled after this idea didn't pan out)

In cmd, ipconfig /release /renew /flushdns

Installing Malwarebytes, scanned for any malware and nothing came up.

check router settings for any lapses in DHCP ip distributions (nothing looked wrong)

ISP - router compatibility (all good there)

The only thing I could think of is that I have too many devices connected at the same time. 4 PC's, 4 tablets, and 5 phones. But I tried disconnecting 3 of the phones and 2 of the tablets, and I still have the same problem.

I pinged google, yahoo, and a few other websites with 0 losses, and i pinged 8.8.8.8 with 0 losses. So I am at a complete loss as to what is wrong.

Solution
The important aspect is who is your ISP, and what is your modem. Connect one of the PC's to the modem with a wire, with the router uninstalled. Than see if you can connect to anything. If you cannot, get in touch with your ISP and have them troubleshoot it for you. You may need a new modem, or new connection to the residence, neither of which are user serviceable problems.
