16gb ramvs 8gb ram for gaming(and speeds do matter)

Recently the Cod advance warfare is rolling out and i was planning on building a new pc so i was thinking of of 8 gb ram then ihought that giving 16gb will allow to run on maximum settings and give me better fps what are your suggestions.These are options for 16gb G.Skill RipjawsZ DDR3 16 GB (4 X 4 GB) PC RAM (F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD) or G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) PC RAM (F3-17000CL11Q-16GBXL)and this for 8gb Kingston HyperX DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) PC RAM (KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX).Also feel free to gimme another option My budget is around 6000 ruppess.(I am planning on having this PC for sometim so i thought of 16gb ram)

Internet is full of benchmarks showing RAM faster than 1866 makes no sense except overclocking competitions :))
Also.. connection between RAM and FPS jusy isnt there, occasionally 16 GB will be slower than 8.

GPU and CPU , and an SSD, is what determines gaming performance.

What mobo, CPU and GPU? If going an APU in particular speed definitely matters as well as the amount of DRAM as the iGPU uses the system DRAM. With a conventional CPU and GPU, amount and speed can still add to FPS. For AMD (8320/8350/8370) would look at the 2133 RJ X, with an APU maybe the 2400 sticks, with Intel (a K model CPU) I'd go either the 2133 or 2400

You can always add more ram if you need it. Just for gaming 8 gigs are enough. That's if you're using a dedicated GPU. Integrated graphics and gaming should never be used in the same sentence.

While CPU and GPU are primary (SSD isn't much more than initial load) DRAM doesn't play a large role either, depending on game and rig it can be a few FPS (never said a lot), with APUs and using iGPU it plays a large role. But I also look at the rig as being a computer and most everyone does other things with it besides gaming. When multitasking, even if it's leaving Chrome open with a bunch of tabs, or running a Malware or Vireus check in the background while gaming, recording while gaming, etc...DRAM can play in. Not to mention you can often get faster 1866/2133 and even 2400 sticks for the same basic prce as 1600 at times, oh and games are utilizing DRAM more and will continue to
