I recently swapped my motherboard from the listed ASRock 970 Extreme4 to an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0.
While running with my previous motherboard I seemed to be getting 65-110 FPS in these games on High-Ultra detail. Now when I swapped, it seems to be lower. Like when I am playing Crysis it now sometimes dips into the 30s. I don't know if it was just the area I was in that was giving me higher FPS with my old board, and now I am loading more intensive maps or something?
Can somebody let me know how a similar or (identical rig) is running with these games. I am trying to get everything running right with the new release of Far Cry 4 + others. The games run, however I have to settle for Crysis 3 on High Detail instead of Ultra. Now I know this is minor in reality. But the GTX 970 G1 gaming should be able to handle these games NP.
Is there any program I can use to benchmark my PC to see if its running up to its expected capability? I can also graph some samples while playing these games to get a view of it. But I am currently at work and will not be able to until later.
