Hi All

So I want to know that if I make my computer recognise my PS4 or Xbox One controller will the controller then work on every game I play autonomously or do I have to preconfigure the controller for each game?

Also when I make my controller wireless on my computer will the time between the physical command and the in game action be delayed due to the type of bluetooth controller in anyway? as in not as good a response time as the PS4/Xbox One?

Reason: I like the ergonomics of a controller instead of a mouse for gaming. Specifically for shooters.

Also have not purchased my motherboard as of yet but have the Razer H440 on the way and every other component so just gathering information before purchase

Thanks for your help.

The Xbox one controller will work and most games have preconfigured layouts for it so its basically just plug and play once the drivers are installed. I'm trying to think of a game that doesn't have controller settings and all the fps games I've played have them as well as any other games that also has come out on console like batman arkham, assassins creed and stuff... strategy games or MMOs may not have controller support though. Thats kinda granted in my mind due to the large amount of keys needed by how the game is built

I honestly don't know about the ps4 controller but last I heard it was community supported. Meaning Sony doesn't officially support it but some guys on the internet built drivers that are supposed to work pretty...

Most every fps game supports it.

I don't think they support wireless right now but I would assume that there would be no noticeable difference. I may be wrong but I think the One uses something other than Bluetooth so it would need an official adaptor like the 360 had. And once again idk about the ps4. I know it uses Bluetooth but last I heard the drivers didn't support it.
