hey guys new user here. i just purchased the z97 gaming 5 and the devils canyon i5 4690k cpu.and the webstore seller emailed me saying the mobo bios needs to be updated to support this cpu.BUT many online people on google have said this mobo supports the i5 out of the box already because z97's were made for devils canyon cpus ....
ive read that most newer mobos can be updated with usb drive without cpu installed ?
but i want to know if this mobo would allow me to do this ? as i have had laptops for last years...i do not own a desktop cpu. since they want me to pay about 30 euro for them to update the bios its crazy to consider that . so please help guys
