Hello there,
The wifi speed is much slower on my laptop than it is on any other device around the house, even if they are located at the same place. The internet speed on my laptop is only 0.90mb/s, whilst other laptops in the house reach over 25mb/s whilst in the same room. I've tried updating my network adapter, however it says it is up to date. [Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC]
Even when other devices like laptops/phones are off, the internet speed on my specific laptop is still incredibly slow. There are three smart phones and four laptops connected to the same broadband and literally all of them are running at a high speed whilst the speed on my laptop is 20 times lower. (Tested with speedtest.net)
I am using BT Infinity fiber optic wireless broadband.
System is Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.
If you've any solutions at all, please share your ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thank you so much for your time

Have a look at your wireless router to see if 802.11n is enabled or no. And check the other devices to see if they are connecting on 802.11n or g (or other).

Please don't ask me to explain wireless standards- DYOR.
