Will this AMD FX 8120 bottleneck a GTX 970?

depends on the game, some games will be pretty heavily bottlenecked by that cpu, games that cant utillize its 8 cores, which is most games. what gpu do you currently have, if any? id probably just save the money and get an r9 280/x or gtx760/770 and update the cpu to an 8350 for a more balanced rig. Of course if your playing at 1440p or greater resolution, then yeah probably a 970 regardless of cpu.

I have this combination , Yes it does bottleneck,However i still get 50-70 fps on games mostly ,Bf4 has its maps where it will dip to high 30s sometimes, IM getting a i4690k so this should stop any bottleneck
