Budget is 2500-3000 US Dollars. Help me build a robust machine that can be upgraded down the line and last 4-5 years (ideally) for the following tasks:

I do about 50% Graphics work in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, 30% 3D CAD file manipulation and scene animation in AutoCAD and now am needing to do about 20% video editing, (probably with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.)

Thanks for any help!

This is a monster of a computer for $2000, you don't really need $3000.

After researching a bit more, I've concluded the graphics card for me to handle all these various workloads, for my particular needs will best be served with a Quadro video card. Since I won't be doing video editing for high definition output, the 3D rendering CAD tasks will be the main performance point to optimize for. Also, my IT department wont be helping me to assemble this, so I'm wussing out a bit. I've found this coming in around the right price point:

I think it will be worth it to get this pre-assembled solution, and have near-top of the line speed rather than piecing everything together myself, and worrying about tinkering on it. Since I'm selling this as the way to go vs. a company supported Lenovo laptop, i need to minimize the risk that I'll be spending time troubleshooting.

Given all this info, any experts out there want to talk me down off the ledge before i jump on this plug and play solution?
