Will the NZXT Phantom 820 fit a Noctua NH-D14 fan and a Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce SLI setup?

I'm liking the NZXT Phantom 820 but I'm not sure if it would fit the said components.

Do you guys know? Thanks. Also, if you can suggest other cases that would fit this, that would be great.

Yes, it will fit it. The NZXT Phantom 820 is a full-tower case and will fit pretty much any cooling config you decide to put in there. I personally use the NZXT Switch 810, which is a similarly sized case. I still have my old Noctua NH-D14, just not installed anymore. (custom water loop)

You'll be good.

Both of those options should fit into that case. Do note that with the NH-D14, you will not be able to have the side panel fan on the Phantom 820 installed. Other than that, the GTX 970s will fit without a problem. (Even the ridiculously long Windforce cards from Gigabyte)

Side panel fan on the Phantom 820 is not an issue. The side mounted 200mm fan is positioned over the expansion slot area and will not interfere with the Noctua if installed with this case.

Can you recommend other cheaper options? I'm thinking the Switch 810 but I was wondering if you could suggest some more. Thanks!

Thank you for that info, I was just pulling the info directly from the NZXT website. My mistake as I never looked to see where the actual fan was located. :p

Do you need a full tower case? Or is just something you want to get? Like I said, I have the Switch 810 right now, and I love it. Has most of the same stuff the Phantom 820 offers, a lot of the same parts actually. Just quite a number of aesthetic differences obviously. Getting a full-tower case will definitely set you up for any future options you may want to add to your build later on down the road. i.e., custom water cooling loop, etc. Just lotsa room for expansion, cooling.

I don't specifically need a full tower case but it's nice to have. If you can suggest good mid tower cases that would fit my requirements, that would be great as well.

Another option would be the HAF X by Cooler Master. I can speak on it's half as it's currently my main case and probably will be for future builds to come. It's BIG, real big, but the options that is come with a definitely worth the size, multiple large fan locations, drive bays, hot swap drive bays, triple 120 radiator support, cable management, and even a custom fan shroud to blast your GPUs with cold air. Overall, it's an awesome case with tons of options. Just wanted to leave you with this as another option to look at.
