I recently bought a 120 GB SSD for my PC to install Windows 7. Before, I had Windows 8 as well as viruses and I didn't like it. That's why I downgraded. So now I'm putting shortcuts from the HDD onto my desktop in the OS on my SSD, and when I click to open things, it tells me to re-install or repair programs. I would do that, but I have too many programs, as well as some are cracked, so I don't want to go through that again. I've tried getting shortcuts from the Win8 desktop as well as in Program Files (x86) and Program Files, and only select programs seem to work. For example, steam, skype, Battle.net launcher, openoffice, razer snyapse work. But games no games work, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Pod Farm 2 will not work. When I even go to "Uninstall a program", they don't show up there either. What actions do I take?
