i just built a new pc, and i have an asus h97 plus. I've already put the mobo cd driver in and installed that but i cant find my motherboard in the device manager, nor can i see what drivers are downloaded. I am new to this, can someone point me in the right direction as to what drivers i need to download and where i can find my motherboard and currently installed drivers? :) please any help is appreciated!

Win (7?) will load any drivers necessary when it installs itself. The drivers on the DVD can be installed over the ones Win installs, if you prefer. In fact, the chipset driver and associated supprt drivers is always a good idea to install. And you will probably have to install the LAN driver or you won't have internet access. DM should show the drivers, but probably not the way you expect it to. If there's no yellow flag in DM, you are fine.

If there are any driver updates to the ones on your DVD, you can find them here: http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/H97PLUS/HelpDesk_Download/

Except for the LAN driver, I usually go to the board's website for the drivers instead of using the possibly older ones on the DVD.
