Alright, so for a reason unknown to me my windows 8 had an error of some sort and was unable to boot. No big deal I simply set up my bios to launch from my cd drive and inserted my install disk to reinstall windows 8. I didn't have much on my computer except for games so I wasn't to upset with it.
So I went to reinstall it on my SSD and everything was going smoothly. Until it came to configuring everything in which I got an error. I solved it by doing this.. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1651700/windows-...[1]
Anyway, so now I'm logged in and have windows 8 up and running but I want to make sure my install is solid and it doesn't appear to be.. I go to restore my computer completely and it says it is missing the files to restore it and I need to install it with a disk. Which brings me back to my earlier problem.
I am thinking about just using samsungs ssd software to wipe my ssd and then try a new install as even when I sit here now going through the windows updates very odd things are happening..
Edit: I updated to windows 8.1.. it still seems fairly stable however it still says some files are missing when I attempt to do simple things like restore, update, etc. I'm nervous that in a few months the thing will go bad and I'll be at square one all over.
