So I have an Asus M3A78-EM motherboard, and a stupid WL 10000k Hard Drive (a 2tb as an extra but it works no problem). The Hard Drive has been a bunch of problems, when I first put Windows on it, it denied it at first, saying it has a feature that might make it unbootable, or something along those lines. So it has given me a few issues here and there, where my computer loads up and says please insert a bootable disk and restart. Yesterday, I was playing music, and it kept freezing up on me, or would get stuck in a loop for a short period of time. Then I went to pause it or close it out and it'd say not responding, so I restarted it, gave me the insert bootable disk. It's plugged in and everything, so I unplugged the computer and plugged it back in, that fixed it. I have no doubt it'd do it again, so I am working on getting an SSD. But because just earlier the music was cracking on my game and stuff and my controller would light up when I first plugged it in, but then immediately turned back off. This to me sounds like port failure, which means my motherboard, right? After the controller stopped working I shut off the game, and surprise another program was frozen.
Given I know the Hard Drive is screwy, I know I need to replace that, but because of the ports, I'm also worried about the motherboard, could it be that too?
I doubt I am having a shortage of capability for what I do, my mobo, 8gb ram, Phenom II x4 3.4GHZ, Asus GTX Geforce 70 TI OC that I normally have overclocked when gaming, and a 525W PSU.
Thank you
