I'm about to get my first gaming PC and I'm not sure which power unit to get... My specs include:
Intel® Core™ i7-4790K 4.0 GHz 8MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150

Asetek 550LC Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler (120mm)
16GB (8X2) 2133MHZ

EVGA Superclocked NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card (Maxwell
Then a 128GB solid state drive and a 1 TB HDD
also I put extra case fans in but I don't think that takes up a lot of watts.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!(Sorry if this is a dumb post, I'm sort of new to PC gaming)

At the very least you need a good power supply of 500w. 600w would be enough. The reason why it is so low. Is the gtx 970 is actually quite power efficient. Compared to a 760 it uses approximately 30w less. I would say because of the CPU you would want to go for something a bit higher than 500w. So a 600w PSU would be the best anything higher is icing on the cake.
Some recommendations are:

or

These will get you by just fine.

Are you positive I shouldnt go any higher just to be safe, or will I be 100% OK with 650W?
