Hey all,

I'm wondering if mice and keyboards have been improved to the point where we can cut the cords for gaming.

I play on the couch in front of a big screen and don't want cables running all over the floor, so have been using a Logitech mx510 mouse and K350 wireless keyboard. They're pretty decent for the most part, though I do notice input lag on the keyboard while typing sometimes (which obviously must happen in game).

I've been playing the new COD and have been sucking BIG TIME. This could be for a couple reasons, number 1 being I probably suck - but I'm wondering if I'm at a distinct disadvantage with my choice of peripherals.

Someone recommended the G602 mouse by Logitech as being the best - now does anyone have a suggestion for keyboard to match it?

I sit around 8 feet away from the TV, my DL speed is 25Mbps (10 up) and don't have any other bandwidth drains as I'm the only one here.

Thanks in advance!

Gamers generally don't trust wireless keyboards, and, as a result, almost every gaming keyboard comes with a wire. But if you really want to the cut the cord, consider the Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard K800. It’s a slick, durable keyboard that lights up and lasts 10 days on a charge with regular use. Also like that the Logitech detects hands as they approach the keyboard to trigger the backlight, which will save juice. Best of all, you'll be able to sit on the couch and hook your computer up to your TV, and that's its own reward.
