with a 500watt power supply and evga gtx750 video and a fresh factory windows7 home edition 8rams ddr3 memory and the latest drivers from nvidia all specifications listed on the game but it continues to freeze does anyone else have this problem

Solution
An i5 system would perform better when it comes to the game, but if your computer is getting choked for air, then it might suffer just like this if this is enclosed somewhere like you mentioned. I would make sure that your system can breath before you change processors.

What kind of freezes are you having? My only issue that I'm having with the game is the stuttering during the cinematics during the single player, other than than, the game has been silky smooth for me. If we could know what kind of freezing you are getting, it would help us out a little better. Stuttering? Pauses? BSOD? Not launching? Those are just a couple types.

What are the temps on your CPU/GPU? Just want to rule out overheating first.
