BF4 lags with a pretty solid PC

So I recently just bought BF4 and went to go play it for the first time. Never before in my gaming life with my computer have I really had any issue with a game lagging due to my PC's incompetence. Even things like Arma 3 on Ultra and such never lagged. I was a bit dissapointed when I got in and pulled 8 FPS on ultra but then decided it would probably be best if I cranked it down a bit. I went to all medium to get a benchmark, but still, 8 fps. Turns out all my settings defaulted to giving me 8FPS. I'm unsure of why though, so if someone could help me I'd be very happy.

My PC Specs:

Windows 7 64b
Intel Core i7-3820 @ 3.6 GHz
Asetek Water Cooling
32 Gbs Memory
NVIDIA Geforce 770 4GB

if the game is running at 8 fps then it is unplayable. You shouldn't even be able to load it. Is this your experience? If you can play it and game play is smooth then ignore the fps and play the game.

Yes, I can load in completely with everything pretty fast. It plays at 8 FPS regardless of the settings. I never said it was playable. I just want to know how to fix it. I know my PC can at least handle it on the Lowest settings.
