Hi guys....i want to build a decent gaming rig for around 400$....
I want to play games like fifa.. Pes etc...
Also i am not planning to go beyond 1080p..
Plz suggest some good configurations...barring monitor and os..

Why would it become more likely to exceed 1080p as years go by? Games from the past are the less demanding - not games from the future :) And he did specifically say 'barring monitor and OS'. But yeah, way too cheap.

I believe by "barring OS & screen" the OP meant without OS and screen - in which case I would suggest this: Overclock the processor & it'll handle 1080p games fine.

If OP needs a monitor and OS, forget a PC, wither get Linux, a console or a DS.

Love this.
Getting a 280 into a $400 build is brilliant.

Fair enough, would have though PSU would be fine - my overclocked FX 6300 + 780 never draw more than 500W from the wall.

@logainofhades , your rig has something valuable - Asus R9 270 . Not that the brand is Asus or that is cheaper after MIR but the length of the card . So , i decided to put it in my rig . i wasted half an hour in searching for inexpensive case for long card .
