I just bought the new SteelSeries Siberia V3, so I removed my crappy temporary headset (which worked fine in the exact same ports) and plugged this one in. In the box there is a splitter so I use that. I plugged the headset part into the green port and the mic one in the pink port (backside). Only the left side works. When I unplug the mic both sides work. I tried using other ports and different settings (saying its a speaker) but nothing is working. I don't use my front panel ports because they completely butcher the sound and mic quality. One thing I noticed trying the front panel though was that it worked like it should but the mic needs to be boosted as much as it can for my friends to even hear me and the sound quality is just horrid. I know the back ports work and I know my headset works, so I dont know what to do. Thanks in advance
