I am looking to find a cheap good GPU to give me decent results at 1080p medium settings for gaming. My CPU will be Intel's Core i7 4790k. I was considering the bit outdated Radeon R7 250X and I found an offer for £70 on Amazon. Is the Radeon R7 260X a good idea or are the results I would like impossible for this price range? I am a noob when it comes to GPUs, so please help! I always thout 'old good' was better that 'new mediocre' - I mean newer cards with less power.
Looking for sub-£100/$100 GPU. Best for cheapest.

a 7970 would be a great choice... with propper case fans and cooling you will be able to overclock it to par with the 280x
