Internet download speed bad (Really good Internet)

Hi just got fiber optics last week i can test my connection at any time i get 85mb download 17 mb upload but all my downloads seem to download below 1000kb. I used torrents direct links steam but times i could get up to 8000kb but very rare

Can anyone shed a bit of light of this situation

While Speedtest.net is the most popular, it is not always accurate. I would try another service and see what speeds you get.

In addition, I would connect the computer directly to the modem (no router) and see what speeds you get.
