Flash Player is not installing on Windows vista

I have gone through the steps for a clean install, but it didn't help. When I download Adobe Flash Player it works fine I double click the download and run then I allow it. When the Adobe Flash Player Installer window has opened nothing happens inside the window it is just a grey color background with nothing happening and I have to close it by using task manager.

Is there any known way to fix this?

Try to create a new user profile and re-install the flash player. This step will let you know if your Windows OS has become corrupted from a virus or a system file deletion in the past.
