Why can't I use two of the same memory kits together to get up to a higher capacity?

Hi, I was planning to get the new Gskill Ripjaws 4 DDR4 RAM, but I got an email from Gskill tech support and they said you can't use two memory kits together to add up to a higher capacity. I don't understand why I can't do it if they are pretty much exactly the same except for the color. I wanted to get the F4-2400C15Q-32GRK and the F4-2400C15Q-32GRR for my Asus Rampage V Extreme motherboard. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to RAM, so any help would be appreciated, thank you. Here is what they said:

"Dear Customer,

Please always use one memory kit instead of two or more kits at the same time(even same model).
As you mentioned about 8 DIMMs for the motherboard, please kindly chose the single 64GB, not install two 32GB kits to reach the capacity.
However, we don’t have 2400MHz/64GB now, but it will coming soon."

The sticks in a set are tested to all play nice together, you could pull 10 sticks off an assembly line from any manufacturer and ...maybe... find 4 that will work together as a set at spec... tolerances are extremely tight which is why they sell so many different sets with different numbers of sticks... Also XMP is programmed by the individual package and number of sticks.. you might also try mixing identical sets that were made with components from different production lots which can affect how sticks play also...there's a number of good reasons the manufacturers only guarantee compatibility by the packaged set
