Should I get another one for $229.00 and have them in SLI

or

Return it and get one EVGA 03G-P4-3784-RX GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Dual FTW w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card Manufactured Recertified for $384.00.

Ditto, at that price 780 is more expensive than 970, and 970 is on par, if not better, than 780 on raw performance, and thats discounting the Power usage, RAM and OC abilities (which as far as I am aware, 970 is superior in all those regards).

970 is the better option. 780 is also at the end of line so it could be tricky to get another one for SLI later on if you decide to go that route, compared to the barely 2 month old 970.

Edit: Forgot to add one more thing: for a straight card to card swap, you don't really need to worry about PSU's power, since 970 is rated to draw less power than 760 at stock speeds. If your PSU can handle 760, it will handle 970.
