Help with MSI GTX 970 -- Fan Control Not Working

Hi all, recently started playing some WoW again, and when I do my fans speed up and get very loud. When I checked it out, it seems only one of the fans was spinning. Now I know that both gpu fans work because other, more demanding games stay very quiet and use both fans. I downloaded MSI Afterburner, but manually changing the GPU fan speed does nothing. Help :/

  1. Thats a new one. Try another software like sapphire trixx. Make sure your running afterburner as administrator and you have checked the advanced options to set a fan speed curve. Update your nvidia driver too.

Tried all of that, Trixx doesn't support this card. It's just strange that the software and hardware aren't clicking. All cables are plugged in properly. After about an hour of play one fan decides to turn off while the other over works itself.
