I am buying a new computer soon, and I'm getting a 3TB HDD and a SSD. However, I am having a hard time deciding between 250 or 500 GB for the SSD. I'm only gonna be using the SSD for the OS, and some games, and I might use it for some pictures but nothing is determined because I still wanted to know what size I should get before committing. My budget is nothing crazy, anything over $238.98 (the price of the SSD I currently have selected) should be fine. So... Opinions? /Suggestions? /Advice?

'Bigger is usually better". i have a 500 ssd in one machine with a 2T and 250 ssd in another with a 1T . i haven't found the 250 to be too small. if money is at all concern, I believe the 250 will serve you well. look at the Samsung evo 840's FYI, they are great drives
If you can afford and accept the price then get the 500GB version.

250GB is enough for OS, programs, and most games. If you have lots of games then get 500gb. I have a 250gb one and it is plenty of room for me. If there is a game I want I can load it on my HDD instead. Also, all my pictures and movies are on the HDD too. No need for them on the SSD.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how much "free room" do you think I would have to work with if I only put the OS in there and left the rest for games. Or in simplest terms, how many games do you think I could store in the SSD while also having the OS in there?
