I've been researching non-stop for days and i am totally confused. There are 2 choices for my new PC:

1. Intel i5-4670k
MSI GeForce GTX770 2GB Twin Frozr IV

and

2.AMD FX-8350
Asus r9 280x 3GB DirectCU ii

The difference in price is 50-60$ so its not a problem. But i want to make sure i buy a PC that suits me. i have a 24" Monitor, i only play games and i'm worried about all these next-gen games, there is little chance for heavy OC
just minimum, and i finally since i rarely shutdown my Pc i need the most efficient in electr.costs.

So if anyone has some solid data to present i'll thank you for your help.
Ps. if u recommend a Motherboard too i would be gratefull, just keep in mind that money is pretty tight

Thnx in advance

Overclocking on high end intel CPUs gives little to no returns at all. It is a hobby, not a necessity. A 4460 + 290 will beat a 4690k + 280x all day, everyday. Plain and simple.

My 3570k has a pretty hefty 1.1ghz overclock (4.5ghz) and I don;t even get 2-3fps in games or benchmarks over stock.

Can you please expand on why it would be a most efficient choice?
