Hello, I recently built a computer and all I've done on it is to install windows 8.1/updates and my drivers/updates and kaspersky onto my hdd. I would like to move my os to my ssd. Am I able to just reinstall windows and reinstall the drivers and it will overwrite the old windows and drivers on my hdd? Thank you

Solution
You can just install Windows and all its drivers on the SSD.
It won't overwrite anything on the HDD so make sure your boot order is set properly. You can then manually format the HDD or just delete everything on it, or you can keep the Windows installation on your HDD as a backup.

Also make sure that the SSD is the only drive that's connected when you're installing Windows. Once it's installed you can reconnect the HDD. This is because Windows will sometimes fudge up the installation if there are multiple drives connected during installation.
