Hi,
Recently I got the Asus GTX 750ti for my Pre-Built computer that I bought about two years ago. It was pretty good at the time, but times have changed and I needed an upgrade. However upon replacing the cards, I came to face with being stuck on the boot screen where I am told if I want to, I can press F7 or DEL to go into BIOS. Yet after pressing either of those buttons, nothing happens and I am stuck on that screen for a while until it turns all black with a single white line flashing.
I have been reading about this issue a lot on this website and I have not yet found a solution that works me. What I found interesting about pre built PC's is that some of them have fixed/locked BIOS so you cannot upgrade hardware because it would mess with their warranty. Now I am not sure if this would fix my issue, but after trying to do many different things this seems the most plausible. Has anyone had success with bypassing this?
More of my Specs:
Intel Core i5-2320 CPU @ 3.00GHz (4CPUs)
8GB Ram
400Wt PSU
Current card (Upon putting this card back in, my computer works again properly): AMD Radeon HD 6670
Any help would be really appreciated,
Thanks.
