Updating bios of H81M-PRO

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to update the bios of my H81M-PRO with BIOS updater tool from asus, I put the .CAP file but after that it says BIOS Update Failed.

I don't know why.

Thank you

My PC is a prebuilt one, so I think that's why I can't update. Right? Waiting opinions

If by "pre-built" you mean factory-built, then you can only use BIOS updates that the PC manufacturer has on it's website in the Support > Downloads > Drivers area.

Yeap, I figured that now and updated, in the end the message was "Sucessfully updated" then the PC restarted with 3 red leds of the Mobo, probably was configuring BIOS or something. Now when I restart that LEDS don't come, so I think it's sucessfully. If the BIOS went to a failure update what could happen?

It wouldn't do anything if it failed. But if you built it its easy to fix if something went wrong

If its an ASUS no. Other mobos it would. But if this is an ASUS its not on the ASUS site
