I currently have a hp pavilion p7-1234 and i would like to update my graphics card so i can play the games i like to with better quality. I have seen a few forums on here about upgrading but i am extremely new to the world of upgrading i have just stuck with stock for a long time, and with the games now you can't really do that. So my question is i saw someone had posted a similar problem that i am facing and they got the response of getting a gtx 650 ti boost now i have looked online far and wide and found they are in the price range of about 200.00. now my question is even if my computer wont use lets say a 750ti to its full potential, could i put it in anyways? they are priced cheaper than the 650 ti boost, would i get the same results out of it as i would the 650ti? i know my pc would bottleneck its potential but would i get the results of a 650ti boost out of a 750ti if i was too put it in?

it has a 300w power supply... that is not enough for an upgrade,... you will need to buy a more powerful psu for an upgrade..like a 650w

also, after you buy the psu and graphics card, you will have to overclock your ram to 1600mhz and your cpu to2.8ghz to minimize any bottlenecks

you will also need to buy some fans and fill any fan slots left for good airflow

ps : i suggest you buy a gtx760 since its the minimum for decent gaming right now....
