AMD phenom 830 x4 2.8ghz bottleneck

As a good rule i use a site called cpubenchmark.net to find scores on all the different CPU's, i would recommend to have one with a score of over 4000. A low-budget new AMD CPU will score ~4500, this CPU can handle most games on a high-end GPU.
Your CPU scores:
3574
which is a little bit on the low site, though i wouldn't say that's a need for an immediate upgrade, though you might want to make the next future upgrade CPU related i would say.
So there might be a little bottleneck in some games, but it's not anything too important i would say.
Of cource some specific games will have a huge benefit from a new CPU (etc. Diablo III, StarCraft 2, games with physics in them)
