Hi all,
Plan to put a build a gaming pc with the following specs in a CM 130 case:
CPU: i5 4690k
Mobo: Asus z97i-plus
RAM: Corsair vengeance 1866 mhz 8gb
HDD: WD blue 1tb
PSU: Corsair cx500w modular psu
GPU: Asus gtx 760 direct cu2 OC edition

My question is, can I get away with the stock air cooler for the cpu with this build? Or do I need a closed loop liquid cooler? I want to do maybe some mild overclocking in the future to get the max performance out of my build but I worry about heating issues due to the case size.
What should I do?
Cheers.

If you have the space and money, go for a closed loop cooler, itx builds tend to be really crowded and a wire or something could catch the fan (not good). If you can fit the stock cooler in the case you could probably get away with it, but a closed loop (or low profile air) cooler will serve you better IMO.

The Corsair h75, h60, or maybe even a Deepcool Maelstrom 120k. I used to use an h75 it was decent. Unfortunately aio liquid coolers are pretty pricey. I will say that the h75 kept my fx-8350 at 45-50C under load at stock speeds, so it should be adequate.

Sorry for the late reply.
