Xp won't take drivers from Epson

I downloaded the drivers for an Epson CX8400 all- in- one printer. the computer is a XP pro it will not take them it says something about certification. I'm thinking its because XP is no longer supported. Any ideals out there ? the printer it will print, but the scanner will not.

That model has XP drivers, should install with no issues. You can't click past the certificate error? Did you get the correct ones for 32 or 64 bit depending on what you have installed?
