Graphics Card won't work with VGA?

Hello. I have a geforce GT 520 2GB DDR3 graphics card that used to be plugged in with DVI. I gave my DVI Cord and plugged it in with VGA. Everything is spinning, the graphics card fan is spinning, buy there is no Video. What's wrong and how can I fix it? Thanks!

Specs: AMD Fx-6300
GT 520
Asus M5A78L
8GB RAM

Edit: 300W Power Supply

1)ensure monitor is set to the correct input - vga
2)does both your monitor and gpu have vga? if not and you are using an adapter, try another one
3)try another vga cable

i have edited my original post. gt 520 only has one dvi i . if trying other inputs doesnt make any difference then most probably a psu or gpu issue!

I tried it with two cards and the onboard VGA port. It was working fine with DVI yesterday.

it is unlikely that both vga are dead. most probably the psu has failed.you must try another one.there is also a chance of a dead mobo but i suspect the psu!

EDIT: since you are trying another input make sure your have also selected the same input for your monitor.

Clearing/resetting cmos helped me.

yes clearing cmos may help since you've been changing graphics cards!

Just tried removing the CMOS battery (hence clearing the CMOS), It's still not working! Any Ideas??
