I have the following two parts:
MSI A78M-E35 - AMD A78 Motherboard
CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W Power Supply

I connected the 24 PIN power cable to the motherboard but there is also a 4-connector on the motherboard but there is not a 4 PIN connector tor on the power supply. I see a 6-PIn connector that has PCI on it. This is my first build. Does the 4 PIN connector on the motherboard need to be connected? If so, how?

Thanks.

Solution
Split the 8 pin.
