Cant install programs

I recently got a new HDD when my old one died. im now trying to install itunes and various other programs but they keep giving me an error saying they couldnt find my old HDD. any ideas on how to fix? probably simple but its puzzling me

Please tell us how you installed the new harddrive and operating system.
Theres no way a new install of things should even know about the old drive...

its not a new OS. i only replaced an old drive with a new one

Did you clone the old drive to the new one? or do you have more than 1 drive in your system?

Sounds like you'll have to do a clean install
